The Buzzer Beep is an electronic buzzer system designed by our Department of Robotics to enhance the experience of competitive quizzes by providing a fast and accurate method of determining the first person to earn the opportunity to answer. Instead of relying on raising hands and the observation of judges, the system allows for a clear and flawless method to determine the first answerer, all while making it fun and engaging. Mechanism: The system can support up to 8 individual buzzers, allowing for up to 8 contestants to participate. The buzzers are physically connected by wires to a central device, which controls the whole system. Whenever a buzzer is pressed, the button sends a signal to the central device and lights up, allowing the judges to find the person who pressed first. The central device rejects any further signals until being reset, only letting the first press be recognized.
