FTMPC, the most prestigious annual high school level programming competition in Bangladesh organized by Notre Dame IT Club was initiated in fond memory of Father Richard W. Timm. FTMPC provides a competitive environment for students to showcase their talent and absorb experience for future endeavors. FTMPC is the yearly destination for hundreds of young programmers from different institutions all over the country including programmers from Team Bangladesh in different International Olympiads.

Following an enthusiastic online preliminary phase, more than thirty elite programmers advanced to the offline National Round held on 08 May 2026. The participants had to endure a rigorous, multi-tiered competitive format designed to test critical thinking and strategic skills at every turn. The venue echoed in silence as an intense yet collaborative atmosphere prevailed, characterized by rhythmic keyboard tapping, hushed algorithmic discussions, and live scoreboard updates that electrified classrooms and dormitories. Contestants balanced fast-paced submissions with meticulous, step-by-step logic untangling. Programmers gave it their all one last time, fighting relentlessly to snatch the coveted prize. Every solution carried the spirit of Father Timm through the discipline of structured reasoning, resilience under pressure and unmistakable hunger for innovation. Every submission remained suspended, the breath in the air halted, until the green verdict illuminated the venue and a part of " Team Bangladesh" in the International Olympiad in Informatics ultimately emerged victorious.

The crowd at Fr. Benjamin Prangon roared as the winners were crowned by Honorable Guests. With the presentation of the awards, the evening left behind the inspiring promise of an even grander competition for the years to come. FTMPC 6.0 successfully cemented its status as one of NDITC's premier flagship events. It highlighted that programming transcends syntax by merging logic, creativity, patience, and imagination to turn effort into enduring inspiration.
