Introduction to Competitive Programming

Wed Aug 24 2022

The curtains close on the marvellous workshop on competitive programming conducted on 24th August 2022, for batch’23, which was attended by many coding enthusiasts who were looking forward to having a wonderful session led by a living legend.

Being led by Tamim Shahriar Subeen, co-founder of Dimik Computing School and currently a Software Engineering Manager at SafetyCulture, the session was blessed with the presence of this celebrated coder, mentor and author, who is said to be the forefather of young Bangladeshi programmers. Teachers and students were delighted to have the former Notre Damian back again at the campus.

Learners were provided with essential guidelines for entering the realm of competitive programming. Certain algorithms and problem-solving techniques were discussed, followed by a Q&A session where the mentor not only cleared out some confusion faced by the students but also shared stories on his journey. Our honourable Principal handed over a crest to him and applauded his visit to our college campus.
