INIT 3.0

Thu Mar 02 2023

College fests are pretty awesome. Tons of events, an opportunity to meet famed personalities and winning fabulous prizes to show off to your friends - yes, these are fun. But if you come back home after the fest, completely exhausted from the day’s hard work, and decide to watch a movie like Brad Bird’s “Tomorrowland: A World Beyond”, you might start having thoughts like, “Hey, maybe the day could have gone better.” You are right, it could not just be better, it could be - “way” better.

(No thanks to) the COVID-19 Pandemic, which got us stranded in our residences for two years, put a hard brake on all club activities and got us bored out of our minds. And after the quarantine situations were relaxed, the fests that other clubs and institutions were coming up with were too....mainstream. Thanks to our stubborn lot, we share your opinion too. Mainstream is common, and common is boring. And so we decided to go beyond the regular convention of college fests, or any other IT fests that you have ever seen before.

Notre Dame Information Technology Club presented NDITC init 3.0. To celebrate and appreciate the advancing technology and the genius minds behind it, to promote the inventors, the creators, and the technology lovers NDITC init 3.0 is coming back with a radical redesign from preceding events. We hosted many more events where tech enthusiasts can flourish their creative and technical talents. Time for some fancy events - Spot N Go, Soccer Wheels, Robo War, Olympiads, Programming Contests and a lot more! Reframe the future, and let no tables be unturned!
